Transfer Technologies Together and Transform India Together

About Us

TIFAC is a unique knowledge network Institution with a variety of activities leading to knowledge generation for the country in terms of preparing various kinds of reports viz. technology foresight, technology development, preparing technology linked business opportunity reports and implementing mission-mode programmes. Its mandate is to assess the state-of-art of technology and set directions for future technological development in India in important socio-economic sectors.
TIFAC plays a crucial role towards flagging, alerting and planning Government response to fast changing technological scenario and rapidly evolving geo political relations and their impact on Indian economy, and more importantly integrating with other ministries and giving a holistic picture as opposed to standalone views.
TIFAC exhibits ubiquity in its offered services and has been pioneering in mapping future technology trajectories for the nation; came up with a variety of foresight reports comprising short, medium and long term time scale, Techno Market Survey reports, Technology Vision documents (TV 2020, TV 2035) and techno-economic feasibility reports on emerging technologies.
TIFAC is involved in demonstration of some unique models of innovation support, technology development, and assessment.
